Arena Group continued its longstanding relationship with the Palace by supplying the exclusive Patron’s Lunch, held along The Mall in celebration of Her Majesty The Queen’s 90th birthday, 12th June.

Following on from the success of supplying the Royal Windsor Horse Show to great acclaim, Arena Structures supplied and built a 10m x 5m Arcus temporary structure, used to accommodate members of the Royal Family during the festivities.

The structure was completed with solid white linings to the side and rear walls, two rear access doors with accompanying steps, handrails and additional access to the structure for Royal security and police dogs.

Either side of the royal box, a 2 x 2.4sqm camera platform was installed to allow journalists to broadcast the historic day worldwide. A Steeldeck platform was installed to the front of the temporary royal box, complete with a grey velour carpet and thirty white leather chairs.

Spaceworks, part of Arena Group, transformed the iconic London destination into the largest ever outdoor street party through the installation of 1,500 tables and 10,000 chairs, on which members of the public enjoyed picnics to celebrate the Queen’s patronage to over 600 charities.
