Arena Americas event structures were widely used at the 2017 College Football Playoff National Championship. This was a bowl game that determined the national champion of NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision for the 2016 season.

Held at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, it was the culminating game of the 2016-17 bowl season.

The game was played between the winners of two pre-designated bowl games, the Fiesta Bowl and the Peach Bowl.  The Clemson Tigers won the game over the Alabama Crimson Tide by scoring the game-winning touchdown with just one second left in the game, a dramatic finish to an even contest.

Arena Americas was the rental partner for this event by providing a wide variety and selection of rental equipment including clear span structures, arcum structures, high peak and standard frame tents, flooring and lighting along with general rental items to include tables, chairs, linen, astro turf and ADA ramps.

Arena worked closely with the client, facilities staff and the various other vendors to maintain a maximum level of communication, assisting in the scheduling, logistical flow and on-site management to ensure the event was properly planned and executed.

An impressive crowd of 74,512 watched the final and the game was broadcast in the United States by ESPN, ESPN Deportes (Spanish) and ESPN Radio.
