When the first ever CJ Cup golf tournament came to the Club at Nine Bridges on South Korea’s Jeju Island, Asia Tents Arena, part of Arena Group, was on hand to supply temporary hospitality structures, 16th-22nd October 2017.

The tournament, the first PGA Tour regular season event to be held in South Korea, was won by the USA’s Justin Thomas after a play-off against Australia’s Marc Leishman.

Asia Tents Arena, which has extensive experience supplying temporary infrastructure in the region, provided 4,000sqm of double and single deck hospitality structures. Used by tournament sponsors and their guests, the suites were fitted out with brand new interior and balcony furniture, reception, bar and buffet counters.

The Highland Suites by the 18th fairway featured a 10m x 15m double deck entrance with an atrium and a 15m x 50m double deck structure with Hospitality suites. The Rolex Suite on the first floor had a bespoke interior fit-out to the Clients’ design.

By the 17th green, the 10m x 30m Halle Suites were single deck hospitality, while on the 10th tee there were two more structures; a 10m x 30m double deck Olle Lounge for public catering and shared hospitality and the Chairman’s Suite – 100sqm of bespoke hospitality.

The event added to Asia Tents Arena’s growing profile in South Korea following the company’s work at the inaugural President’s Cup in 2015 and the Ballantine’s Tournament, a European Tour-sanctioned event which was held between 2010 and 2013.
