Arena has marked the official launch of its skating season for winter 2019, with the addition of some new features at four of its managed ice rink venues in the UK.
Tickets are now on sale for the ice rinks at Hampton Court Palace, Tower of London, The North Pole Cambridge and the Liverpool Christmas Ice Festival, which all return this November.
New features include the option to pre-book penguin skate aids and party packages online. Visitors to the Tower of London and Hampton Court Palace ice rinks can also upgrade their experience with a Prosecco and Skate option, which includes a miniature bottle of Prosecco with each skate session.
The Tower of London Ice Rink will also be updated with a larger rink, affording visitors more room to skate and soak up the impressive views of the iconic medieval fortress.
Season passes are now available to purchase online for The North Pole Cambridge, which will be the second year the rink includes a transparent roof for all-weather skating.
Arena has also confirmed the return of the UK’s longest ice slide at 30 metres long to the Liverpool Christmas Ice Festival following its successful debut last year, offering elevated views of the surrounding festival area.
Chris Morris, CEO for Arena UK & Europe, said: “We are delighted to launch our 2019 ice skating programme in London, Liverpool and Cambridge.
“As part of the Arena Standard to supply high quality solutions on time and to requirements, it’s important that we enrich the visitor experience, from online booking enhancements to package upgrades. We look forward to welcoming new and repeat visitors to the rinks this year to enjoy the ultimate winter entertainment in three of the UK’s most vibrant cities.”
