Site Manager / Construction Manager - Structures - UK

We are looking for an experienced Construction / Site Manager to join our team Structures team.

Purpose of the Job:

To manage and coordinate the efforts of the Site team and the third-party contractors in delivering the construction of the temporary structures to the client’s specifications and to the set standards and timelines.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise the Site team: ensure the crew have the required level of understanding and training to carry out the tasks assigned to them.
  • Ensure compliance with H&S regulations and maintain safety and welfare of the team
  • Ensure all crew members have knowledge and understanding of the following:
  • Equipment & Infrastructure fitness for purpose
  • First Aid
  • Fire Safety
  • Waste, waste management and general appearance of site
  • Staff welfare, training, management and rotas
  • Completion of checklists, incident & feedback forms and RIDDOR reports.
  • Carry out on-site induction for all staff
  • Undertake daily Toolbox Talks
  • Keep record of the working hours for the team and populate the timesheets timely and accurately.
  • Complete and submit all necessary documentation, e.g. Method Statements, Safe Systems of Work, etc.
  • Maintain discipline and address any instances of misconduct professionally.
  • Encourage and motivate the team to perform in their role and develop skills and knowledge they need to progress their career.

Person Specification

  • Strong experience in building temporary structures.
  • Experience of managing a team.
  • Ability to long work hours and stay away from home for prolonged periods. Frequent travel within UK and overseas.
  • Full driving licence.
  • FLT licence (rough terrain or higher).
  • IOSH Managing Safely or CSC equivalent qualification (desired).
  • Sufficient IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • First Aid at Work (desired).

Marquee Erectors / Site Operatives - UK

We are looking for Site Operatives / Marquee Builders to join our growing site team on full-time permanent basis.

In this role, site operatives assist with preparing a site, loading and unloading trucks, and erecting and dismantling temporary and permanent structures, in accordance with project specific plans and regulations for a range of different events throughout the UK.

The hours are varied and involve frequent travel within UK and occasionally overseas.

Accommodation and overnight allowance will be provided when working away from home.

Guaranteed a minimum 40 hours per week, with plenty of opportunities to earn overtime.
