Arena Groups’ temporary events expertise was once again called upon to transform West London’s Queen’s Club ahead of the AEGON Championships, 13-19th June.
Arena Seating supplied and installed 7,836 plastic tiered tip-up seats in AEGON Blue to enhance the event branding, 332 of which were padded for the VIP hospitality boxes. Temporary seating was installed across multiple locations throughout the outdoor sporting venue including the main stand, a centre court balcony comprising of a Presidents balcony and Royal Box, Courts 1 & 9, plus on a new hospitality terrace.
A main entrance archway welcomed tennis fans into the venue before walking through the main walkways to Court 1, the East and South stands which were complete with tunnel waterproofing, ceiling linings and cladding.
Additional installations included a Hawkeye platform and BBC Studio with linked platforms to a main BBC platform, three screen surrounds, an information screen platform complete with fully clad towers, four broadcasting studios, commentary booths, camera towers and a camera platform at the end of the South stand on Centre Court.
Arena Structures installed over 8,000sqm of temporary event structures including five double deck hospitality structures playing host to the BNP Paribas garden, the Champions Restaurant, sponsor’s Club Lounge, staff catering, Stewards Office and a Champagne Bar.
