Most elements of the Arena Group were involved when Arena Structures, Arena Seating and Arena Scaffolding teamed up to provide lavish hospitality facilities and stylish seating grandstands for the Portugal Masters Tournament at Vilamoura.

In a complex operation, the support teams at home responsible for the planning, design, warehousing and logistics played an equally vital role to the project team overseas.

Arena Structures Project Manager, Simon Marsh, explained, “Working closely with Bradley Merchant and Sam Seaviour from Arena Seating and Frazer Pearson from Arena Scaffolding we were able to offer the client one point of contact. We had an overview of the whole site and could provide a coordinated build and derig.”

First, Arena Scaffolding created level substructures on the undulating course. Arena Structures supplied 2500m2 of temporary overlay creating various covers for hospitality, media and public facilities, while Arena Seating’s finely finished grandstands gave ideal views. “The staff flexibility and willingness to help each other was a huge asset at Vilamoura,” says Simon. “By working together like this we can offer a stronger service to our clients.”
