Arena Americas Provides Bespoke Clearspan Tenting for MoMA’s Party in the Garden in New York City

Arena Americas worked with The Museum of Modern Art in New York City to install clearspan tenting and flooring for their annual Party in the Garden to honor philanthropist Agnes Gund.  The celebration took place in the Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Sculpture Garden and benefitted MoMA’s Annual Fund including education programs and the care, study, and maintenance of its collection.

Attendees included Carolina Herrera, Wes Gordon, and Cindy Sherman amongst others. The event was followed by an after-party where St. Vincent and SIMIHAZE performed under the clear roofed tent.

Arena designed a unique 20m clearspan structure to cover the Garden and wrap around each of the Garden’s trees.  The clearspan structure incorporated half bays and custom clear tops to allow the trees to poke through the tent structure and become a focal point of the décor.  Level flooring and green turf added to the garden-feel of the event.
